Solitary Cyclist oin us to celebrate our 29th Anniversary of keeping the Master's memory green in Southern California. We're kicking off our 29th year with great food, a cozy setting, and a program full of Sherlockian fun. Quiz on Solitary Cyclist. We unveil our 2019 raffle prize, welcome new members and hand out some hardware, along with a guest speaker, costume prizes & much more.

Michael Mallory The CCOBS is proud to welcome Michael Mallory as our guest speaker. Mike is an internationally-recognized authority on the subjects of film, animation and 20th century pop-culture, and the author of eleven nonfiction books, including "Marvel's Black Widow," "Universal Studios Monsters," and "Marvel: The Characters and their Universe." In the realm of Sherlockiana Mike writes the Amelia Watson mystery series, which includes the novels "The Stratford Conspiracy" and "Murder in the Bath," and is currently working on a play featuring Amelia. In addition, he has published more than 130 short stories and has written over 600 magazine and newspaper articles that have been published worldwide. A former newscaster and occasional actor, Mike lives and works in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Happy 29th Anniversary! We have a great event planned to celebrate our endeavor of keeping Mr. Holmes' memory green in Southern California. We will discuss our past and present legacy as a Sherlockian Scion, and gaze into our future with an eye toward preserving our rich heritage. Welcome new members, raise our glasses for Canonical toasts, and test your knowledge of The Adventure of the Solitary Cyclist.

We will unveil our 2019 raffle prizes, a unique set of items that will be brought to each of our 2019 events. Tickets can be purchased throughout the year to culminate with the drawing of the winning tickets at the medal quiz event set for November.
The raffle prizes will also provide a special surprise bonus during the 2019 medal quiz.
This is a Creative Semi-Formal event, after all it's our Anniversary. Victorian attire is encouraged but never mandatory. Have some fun and don your Sunday-go-to-meeting-duds or best period cycling outfit. (Bustle & hoop skirts are not recommended for this venue). We will award prizes for Best Male and Female attire.
