The Lead-in paragraph to use:

THE MAN IN THE GREEN BED SLIPPERS

He was standing next to me in line; a thin faced man wearing an expensive tweed jacket. He was clasping a large brown box to his chest and seemed agitated. Janie nudged me and pointed down. The man was wearing green flip-flop bedroom slippers despite the soggy drizzle. Each time a taxi came and the line moved up, the man muttered about time running out for him. Janie thought he needed help, but there was something strange about that brown box which had no labels or tape on it. He kept staring fixedly at it, and I wondered why.
