oin the Collectors as we delve into the cause and effect of Sherlock Holmes' near death at the hands of Culverton Smith. We will hear how Holmes was a pioneer in the prevention of bioterrorism. Take a quiz on "The Dying Detective" and hold a silent auction to benefit our October "Carnival Of Crime."  Good food, great company, a wondrous auction and a fun quiz, where should you be on April 20th? It's Elementary!

Dying Detective

Soup or Salad:
     Red Pepper Soup - a blend of roasted red peppers with smoked mozzarella cheese.
     Spring Mix - field greens, candied pecans and dried cranberries with a balsamic vinaigrette
    Entrees:     
  • O' Groats Signature Fried Chicken - Crunchy, crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside.
  • Yankee Pot Roast - Beef brisket slow roasted and braised for three hours in a rich brown sauce.
  • Pan Seared Salmon Filet - Fresh salmon filet prepared Mediterranean style.
All entrees served with garlic mashed potatoes
and fresh mixed seasonal vegetables.

Dessert:
     Mixed Berry or Apple Cobbler - Served hot, ala mode with Dandy Don's vanilla ice cream

Coffee, tea, soft drinks, & lemonade included.
A full service no-host bar will be available.

In addition to what's already on tap, we may even go “In Search of Sherlock Holmes” via the way-back machine.

The 1st auction to benefit the 2013 “Carnival of Crime” will take place with items donated by Maggie Schpak, Rick Lainhart, Jeff Hart and the Kegleys. Some of the items that will be available are: a set of Victorian daytime jewelry for a man and woman, rare books and other curiosities of a Sherlockian nature.
