Some notes about changes to the 2015 Medal Quiz:
This year's Medal Quiz will see some changes to the familiar format that the CCOBS has employed for most of its 25 years.
The quiz will have two stages, the first, preliminary "written" quiz that will contain 10 to 15 rather challenging questions on the story. This will contain some multiple choice, fill in the blank and short answer questions. All participants will have 30 minutes to complete this portion of the quiz. The top ten or so individuals (following a review of the graded quizzes) will proceed to the "Elimination" Quiz.
The "Elimination" Quiz will follow our old format with a few changes. All participants will receive one pass ticket. This "one pass" can be used at any time, for any question, but, once used you may not pass again while you are still in contention. Also if a question is asked and not answered correctly the next person in line then has that question. This will continue until the question is answered correctly, passed or all participants are eliminated. Maggie Schpak prize medals will be awarded to the First, Second and Third place finalist.
