The Victorian age was one of innocence and splendor, which we will never see again. Those attending the 2009 Gasfitters’ Ball have the opportunity to recapture some of that adventure and enchantment.
Travel back to the steam powered, fog enshrouded, gas lit streets of Victoria’s London and assume one of the many personalities found in the pages of history, or in the works of Jules Verne, H.G. Wells or the Sherlockian Canon.
Join a vast array of Victorian personalities from England and the far corners of the universe as we celebrate "Steampunk". Be inventive! (You may come as any character from the Sherlockian Canon or any historical or fictional character of the age). We ask that you attend the Ball in a costume befitting the rank and station of your chosen character.
Note: This is not a requirement for participation. Your character selection must accompany your reservation.
Please include your "character" with your RSVP along with your phone number so that we may contact you if a second selection becomes necessary. You will be notified if there is duplication. Send in your reservation early so that you are guaranteed your first choice!
