Welcome to our seventeenth year and five great Sherlockian events!  This year our kickoff Anniversary Celebration will be on March 1 at the Marie Callendar's Grill adjacent to Hancock Park, the L.A. County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the famous La Brea Tar Pits on the Miracle Mile. We are The Curious Collectors of Baker Street, The Sherlock Holmes Society of Los Angeles. We were founded in February of 1992 and are a scion society or chapter of the renowned Baker Street Irregulars of New York. In the greater Southern California area both men and women are welcome into membership in the C.C.O.B.S.. Meetings include the annual Gasfitters' Ball, Blackguards Banquet and other such events that blend scholarship with merriment. We also welcome those interested in the Victorian and Edwardian Eras, their arts, fashion, customs, manners and popular music of the day. If you are interested in joining our organization, dues are $20.00 for a single or $30.00 for a family membership. As a member you will receive special premiums FREE as well as price breaks to our events along with our newsletter, Police News Of The Past. As a New member you will receive these items along with a membership pin and certificate.
