Without your continued support our society cannot defray our costs and continue to produce in the style that you've grown accustomed to. As a member you will receive special premiums as well as price breaks to our events along with our newsletter, "Police News of the Past." As a New member you will receive these items along with a membership pin and certificate. Dues are $20 a year for a Single or $30 for a Family membership. Please note, if we do not hear from you we will be forced to remove you from our mailing list. The continuing postage rate increases combined with the ever growing cost of paper products make this a necessary evil. Time and location will be forwarded to you with details of each event. We always schedule our programs on weekends, making it easier for you to attend. We will also be e-mailing notices, so be certain that we have your E-mail address. Although our events are open to the public, our members have preference. We encourage the wearing of Victorian costume to our events, but it is never mandatory. Our paid up dues members are invited to participate in our annual attendance contest! Only those who attend each of our first four events will qualify to win a set of four posters promoting the recent film, SHERLOCK HOLMES, to be awarded at our August event. This is our way of honouring those members who support the CCOBS.Lend a hand! Your volunteer assistance is always welcome!  In the greater Southern California area both men and women are welcome into membership in the C.C.O.B.S.. Meetings include the annual Gasfitters' Ball, Blackguards Banquet and other such events that blend scholarship with merriment. We also welcome those interested in the Victorian and Edwardian Eras, their arts, fashion, customs, manners and popular music of the day. If you are interested in joining our organization, dues are $20.00 for a single or $30.00 for a family membership.
