Join your Curious Collectors family for a Victorian costumed Hallowe'en Party with a twist, as we intoduce Mr. Holmes to the Time Traveler, Captain Nemo, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Frankenstein and a host of other Victorian characters that go bump in the night. We've converted the backyard of Rick and Susanna Lainhart's home in beautiful downtown Burbank into a dockside haunt of horror and imagination. Play nostalgic games like Bobbing For Apples, Wrap The Mummy, Bean The Queen, Tarantula Toss, Pin The Kraken On The Nautilus and the Counting Count. Dress for the part in your finest Victorian Hallowe'en garb, Steampunk attire or creature feature ensemble. There will be prizes galore, so have fun, use your imagination and pull out all the stops. This is a costumed event! Think Blackguards Banquet meets Hallowe'en meets 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Everything from Spring Heeled Jack to Jack the Ripper, to League of Extraordinary Gentlemen to War of the Worlds is in play. Please be aware that there is some uneven ground and sensible footwear is recommended. There may also be some traffic issues if a large hoop skirt or costumes with large appendages or apparatus are worn. This is an outdoor event, so please dress accordingly for a warm day and a cooler evening. Prizes will be awarded for the best male and female costumes, games winners and All Hallows Eve Grand Champion. Please note: Access to the deck of the Pirate Ship (yes, there IS a Pirate Ship) will be off limits due to necessary repair work that is underway.
